This completed F04 project is a perfect combination of function, atmosphere, and natural texture—designed as a multi-feature media wall that elevates the entire living space. Built around symmetry and soft contrast, the wall brings together technology, decor, and craftsmanship in one seamless design.
Project Highlights
LimeWash Finish
The entire fireplace wall is hand-finished with a breathable, eco-friendly LimeWash coating that adds a soft, chalky texture and organic look. Unlike flat paint, LimeWash reflects light beautifully and gives the wall subtle movement and depth.
Built-In Electric Fireplace
A modern electric insert provides warmth and ambiance without bulk. It’s installed just above floor level for a natural fireplace feel.
Flush-Mounted TV
The television is fully recessed into the wall, aligning perfectly with the surface for a clean, integrated appearance.
Wood Mantel
A chunky, natural wood mantel floats just above the fireplace, adding warmth, contrast, and a tactile centerpiece between the TV and firebox.
Custom Niches with Lighting
On both sides of the central section, the team built open niches with built-in lighting to highlight decorative objects and add ambiance. Each niche is backed with textured 3D decorative panels, creating depth and visual interest even when empty.
Recessed Shelving Concept
The alternating shelf design provides balance and rhythm, offering space for plants, books, or framed decor, all framed by soft lighting and sculptural background elements.
